Telling Untold Stories in Photographs, Prose and Public Speaking

"I'm a girl with 60 years of experience - who loves stories and happy endings."

God's presence in Marcia's life has changed ordinary experiences into extraordinary adventures around the world. Marcia and her husband, Ed, have four children: two homemade (biological) adult children (Benjamin and Kristin), and two chosen children from China (Sarah and Faith) who are teenagers. They are blessed with four precious grandchildren (Joshua, Emily, Caleb and Megan) and three rescued, spunky puppies (Daisy, Izzy Belle, and Pearl Ming Zhu).

"Ed and I were over 50 and already grandparents, when God called us to be parents again through the miracle of adoption. Most people told us we were nuts. Some praised us as saints. Honestly, God broke our hearts. The statistics of the 163 million orphans around the world became personal to us. God calls us and equips us to make a difference - one child at a time. My passion for orphans is reflected in my signature line: "UNTIL ALL HIS CHILDREN HAVE HOMES."

Marcia has appeared on radio and television. Her writing and photographs have been published in books, magazines and newspapers. This teacher and published author travels as a professional speaker. Marcia shares the stories God is writing in her life with adoption groups, churches, schools, libraries, women's groups, retreats and seminars.

"My Granny Lucille was the STORYTELLER in our family. She passed the anointing on to me. What a joy for me to encourage and celebrate the STORYTELLER in others who hear me speak and read my stories, and also in the next generation of my own family! My 12 year old granddaughter, Megan Norwood, and I wrote a story about her life that was published in the September 2010 issue of Clubhouse Magazine, from Focus on the Family."

Message From KATARA PATTON, Acquisitions Director, Children and Family, Tyndale House Publishers:

"Marcia Norwood has a true, God-given passion for educating all of God's children. She combines this passion with her years of experience in early childhood education inside the classroom and inside her home to create a fun and educational programs and events for children, parents, and teachers."
